Fern Mallis – Senior Vice President of IMG Fashion. Fern is the founder of Fashion Week in New York City and the person who created this amazing fashion event that is recognized around the world. Fern granted us a few moments for an interview the day before Fashion Week began and we’re delighted to share that with you here.

Fall 2010 Collections – New York Fashion Week

Mackage – Fashion Week kicked off with the edgy and powerful collection from the House of Mackage. The fall collection of ready-to-wear dresses, suits, and tailored coats created an urban image that is easy to wear and delightfully modern.

Jill Stuart – The Jill Stuart runway collection was held at the New York Public Library which was a stunning venue to showcase her Fall Collection. From military jackets, thigh high boots, and Scottish-inspired plaid, it was easy to see why a string of New York’s famous young actresses had a front row seat!

Kardashian bebe Spring Collection – The Kardasian sisters have teamed up with bebe to offer a young, hip, and edgy spring collection that is available in bebe stores now. The event sponsored by Style 360 attracted numerous celebrities and an appearance by Kim Kardashian.

Christian Siriano – Yes, we can say we survived the press pit at one of the hottest tickets at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  Chrisitian Siriano created a spectacular show that ranged from ready-to-wear suitable for a night on the town to his couture cascading gowns that define his signature style.

Issac Mizhari – Providing the most incredible show of Fashion Week, Issac Mizhari presented his runway collection with a stunning New York City backdrop complete with falling snow! His classic designs melted down the catwalk among elegant gowns in the glittering and magical world he created.

Michael Kors – The Fall Collection of Michael Kors was truly one of the most inspirational yet completely wearable collections of Fashion Week. Every piece had you completely smitten and breathlessly waiting for the collection to arrive in stores for your fall shopping spree.

Anna Sui – Vibrant, colorful and fun – Anna Sui’s Fall Collection is a kaleidescope of texture, print, lace, and layers.  With a wink to the trend-setting fashionista, Anna Sui’s collection had your eye’s popping at her bold, creative designs and your mind wondering – who could actually pull this off???
